b is for books

I am running through the tropical rainforest, now I am shopping on 5th avenue New York, New York. Books can open up a whole new world to you from, fiction to non fiction, romance to horror, people say that they would rather watch movies because its real life. But movies can never explain and have nearly as much detail as a book. "Books are the juice of the mind" ~Anonymous. As anonymous has pointed out you can think better after you read books. It refreshes my mind and makes us open up to whole different world that no one new existed. 

One of my favorite books are the Huger Games and Catching Fire. "The sheer fabric softly glows. I give the illusion of wearing candlelight." is a passage from the hunger games. This is after Katniss wins the games and is put in a beautiful glowing dress. This book is one of my favorites because it is what America is like in the future. It is a horrible place were there are 12 districts and a Capitol, a long time ago in the book there was an uprising in what the country is called Panem. The Capitol and the districts killed and fought viciously, but the capitol won the war and made up the hunger games. Were 24 children are put into an arena and forced to kill each other. The last person standing wins. This book shows me what could happen in the future and how horrible things could become. This book explains so much I could always get bright vivid pictures in my head.

Another one of my favorite things about books is it can take you on adventures. Small passages can make your mind open up and really see a picture in your head. Here is an example, "As she laid down on the soft sand Lucy looked up at the sky. It was painted with beautiful colors, Rosy pinks, fiery reds, canary yellows, cantalope oranges, and shimmering golds. The water crept up and licked her toes, the cold felt nice. She closed her eyes finally feeling at bliss in this cold, hard world, and willing herself to take one last breath. This passage made me feel at bliss even thought that girl was ding she saw one last sunset before her last breath.

I love books and read them way to much, when i was in New Zealand for 3 weeks I read 9 books. Whenever I go to sleep I have to read at least a little bit of a book or else I can't fall asleep. But usually on those night I get lost in my books. I look at the time and it says 9:30 so I think just read until 10:00 I look at the clock after reading and its 10:49!? I always lose track of time while reading. I guess i'm just a readaholic!

T is for Travel

Its fabulous, fun, adventurous, different, hard to understand, fast talking, Different culture, Yes of course i am talking about Travel. I love to travel, I have been Traveling since i was a baby I've been from Paris France to New York-New York, from Rome Italy, to Shanghi China. But what i am talking about in this blog is some of the most delicious and breath taking moments that i have ever had on vacation.

One of my Favorite things about traveling is different scenery. A couple of years ago I went to Italy on a yacht that my parents friends own, and we were watching the sunset, nice rosy pinks and peaches, brilliant reds reflected in the water below us, like a mirroir. Right before the sun disappeared all together, when it just touched the horizon the was a bright flash of emerald green and than the sun was compeletly gone. It was so gorgeous I will never forget it, it was one of those moments that was completley unexpected but fantastic, magical! It was Serendipitous!

Another adventure i had that was delicious was on vacation in Japan.  One moment that i won't forget was in Tokyo. My mom and I went to a tempanyaki restaurante which is a restaurante that cooks the food in front of you On a huge stove, and everyone at the table gets to see how it is made. The restaurant was 68 stories up in this building so you could see all of Tokyo's bright twinkling lights. For dinner we had the most delicious food I have ever tried in my life it was appetizing, succulant delicious and so so much more. For first course we had Abalone which Is like muscles accept a lot much better. It was grilled on the giant stove, Once it was done it ws served in a warm butter sauce and pesto. I thought it was the only food that had so much tast it was tender and warm, and it felt like it just melted on your tongue, but the my next course was even better! My next course was lobster cooked, again, right in front of you. Usually lobsters taste kind of dry, but this one was delicious and flavor filled. It was warm and heavanly the insides were tender and juicy. It just slid down my throut, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. But the best was yet to come, finally our chef served us the most delicious food i have ever tried. It was a slab of kobe beef, it was so delicious cooked in a warm beef sauce. It was so soft and tender it was like cutting butter. It was so flavor it just exploded your tastebuds i just couldn't get enough! It was finger linking, lip smacking, melt in your mouth meat that was so scrumptious. I stole half of my moms just trying to eat some more!

I love going on vacation because it is always a new adventure! You never know whats going to happen. Like in the brilliant words that Forest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get".

F is for FASHION!

Fashion, definition: a popular trend...

Fashion is love, life, hobby, hatred, and many more definitions than just trend, ahem booooorrriiing, whoever wrote the dictionary has an extremely boring life, like hello who would want to sit in a boring cubicle all day writing about definitions. But whatever it his life, anyway I'm writing this blog about the fabulous world of fashion.
there are sooo many big time designers that I'm just gonna tell you about half of them: Dolce and Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, DKNY, Gucci, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Juicy Couture, Prada, Chanel,Dior, Ralph Lauren, BCBG, Balenciaga, Manolo Blahnick, Alexander McQueen, Stella Mcartney, Michael Kors, Chloe, Diane Von Furtensburg, Estee Lauder, Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Steve Madden, Pucci, Betsy Johnston, LAMB, Burberry, Vera Wang, and so many more my blog would be like thirty pages long if i wrote about it.
My favorite designer that i actually wear is Juicy Couture, because it has great stuff that lasts a long time and is sooo gorgeous. My idol is Coco Chanel the inventor of Chanel here is chanel 101

Designer stuff is very expensive, which is an issue for fashion lovers! One day I bought a black and white hounds tooth scarf for $30 I went to a different store and found the exact same scarf in the exact same material and it was $125! That's crazy and I was so glad that I found my scarf for only $30. Designer stuff is almost addicting sometimes, just look at the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic". Rebbecca Bloomwood is an obsessive shopper and thinks designer clothes is her life. Rebbecca can't help but buy new clothes because she thinks she needs it but, really she is actually thousands of dollars in debt. In the end Rebbecca realizes that there is more to life than just shopping.
LIFE LESSON: Designer clothes is to be enjoyed in moderation if you get to much you go a lot into debt like Rebbecca Bloomwood.

What its like to be in someone elses shoes..#5

Imagine going outside and the burning hot sun beating on your back as you struggle to walk with the hot, heavy burqa on your back. You trip and fall because your burqa is so long, you accidentally scream, since you have spoken a soldier beats you. What have you done to deserve this??? it was the Soldiers fault in the first place to have fallen because of that heavy burqa, why is it happening to you??
Many women in Afghanistan and other countries of the world have to were these extremely heavy cloaks. They are tough to walk in and almost completely obstructs your view of things around you. These women are forced to were them by soldiers because they are older women. If i had to wear a burqa i would be very angry because i would need help walking and i like to see where I'm going. And the fact that they are very heavy that on a hot day they drag you down, you would never be able to go anywhere. It would be burning hot. Why are you forced to where them, the soldiers are horrible people who take over women's lives. Also women are not allowed to talk, if they do they would get beaten.
If i had to where a burqa and was not allowed to talk, i would be furious and very sad. I feel very bad for these women and i am glad that i am not in their shoes.

Japan #4

I arrived in japan 3 days ago here is a recap of what i have done

First i went to Hiroshima For 1 day, While I was there I went to a Hiroshima Palace. It was a HUGE palace in the middle of a lake with 6 stories and i learnt a lot about warriors and how people used to live. Did you know that people were a lot smaller 100 years ago, so the doorways in the palace were like 4 feet tall.

Next I went to The Hiroshima peace museum and learnt all about what happened during the bomb. It was very interesting, We saw what happened with radiation, some people had spots sprout up all over their body and die. Also arms became like mutated it was horrible. I also saw some clothes from children who died in the bombing. It was a great experience.

After, for lunch me and my mom went to a sushi place. This sushi place was sooo cool because it was sushi on a conveyor, so if you wanted a specific sushi you could grab it of the conveyor belt as it went around in a circle. it was so cool.

At the end of the day we went around Hiroshima and saw some buildings that survived after the bombing, they were all black and burnt. I thought that it was amazing that any building actually survived. Next to one of the buildings that survived the bombing, there was a big bright fire that was lit after the peace museum was made. It is an everlasting fire that will stay lit during rain and snow it was very neat.

 The next day we left Hiroshima for Tokyo but first I went to Kyoto (Kyoto used to be the capital, but now tokyo is), so since Kyoto used to be the capital many temples were there. There are over 1000 temples in Kyoto. there were many superstious things there like if you drank out of the fountain of god you will be lucky for the rest of your life etc. The temples were very old, but i thought it was cool inside. I only got to go to 1 temple out of the 1000 in Kyoto.

The next day i went on a day tour to mt. Fugi (Foo-gEE). Mt. Fugi is the tallest mountain in Japan. We had to drive to the halfway point but while we were on the halfway point we couldn't see anything because we were in the middle of a huge cloud. After we came down mt. Fugi our group took a cable car up a seperate mountain that had an amazing view of mt. Fugi. Also on top of that mountain. was a lot of sulfer and hot springs. The sulfer made random masses of smoke everywhere. on top of that mountain they sold eggs, except the eggs weren't normal eggs they were black because of all the sulfer. Finally we got down of the sulfer mountain and took a ship around the bay of tokyo. 

The next day i went to disney sea, disney sea is a one of a kind amusement park like disneyland except everything was themed under water. There was one ride that i went on called 20,000 leagues under the sea (like the book). You got into an enclosed bubble and you started moving suddenley a red alert would start flashing and it would look like your sinking but the glass in the bubble was very thick, it was filled with water so that when you started sinking bubbles would pop up in the glass. So you would think that you were under water, after you sunk you had to find your way through the water and random sea creatures kept popping out and jumping onto your window. It was soo amazing. After we went on many water rides it was so fun.

Now I am about to leave Japan for Canada and i am sad that i have to leave stay tuned for blog number 3 on my trip to learn about the differences between Asia and Canada, also some cool facts about Japan and China are there to, see you on Monday!!

Life in China

I have just left China To Japan, it was one of the most amazing expeiriences ever. Here is what i did in the last 3 days.....

First we went to our hotel in a place called Suzhou (Sue-jOE), when we got to our hotel i couldn't believe it, our hotel (called the Crowne Plaza) was completley made out of glass. It was set to look like a cruize ship because it had the shape of a huge ship and the front was stretching out over the ocean. On the inside, metal birds were suspended high on the ceiling so it looked like birds were flying over our heads. Also there were small streams of water going around the hotel there was also many stearing weels all over and achors hung everywhere. the flors had old fashioned maps all over it and the elevators were completley glass so you could look out over the whole hotel.
