S is for Summer

Seasons are an amazing thing, its what makes our world turn from a bright, sizzling, summers day, to a cool colourful afternoon in Autumn. This Is my second entry in the Seasons series now hear is a little taste of summer.
S is for Summer
I walk outside barefoot into the scorching summers day, the shimmering golden sun is up and the turquoise blue sky is dazzling, without a cloud in sight. The dazzling Caribbean is amazing! Thin beads of sweat form on my upper lip, from the heat. It is a gorgeous day, the trees are a dazzling green, while the well kept grass is a shady jade green. Small rainbow colored butterflies, fly by. I pad over to my pool and lie down on my lawn chair. A few minutes later I am hot enough to catch fire! I go over to my aquamarine blue pool and hop into the freezing waters. A huge wave of water flys up around me as I sink deeper and deeper into my pool, every cell in my body is cool and refreshed. I stay under for a couple more seconds until I feel my lungs are about to burst. I trend to the surface and pop my head inhaling a hug breath. Ah, this feels great. I hop out and lie down on my plush 100 thread count towel. I look up and my fuchsia pink strawberry daiquiri is on the glass table next to me. A take a long refreshing sip, the thick and sweet liquid runs down my throat, this feels like heaven, I think as I fall asleep in the humid air.
The Next Day
My Family and I are taking a glass bottom boat ride around the luxurious, electric blue, Caribbean waters. We are about to go scuba diving and explore the amazing and beautiful aquatic life. We are zooming across the waters now at top speed some salty ocean waters spray my face and I relax. The boat halts to a stop, I strap on the heavy oxygen tank and plunge into the unknown waters. The second I can focus on my surroundings, my midnight blue eyes widen in amazement. I am looking at an under sea world, the indigo, electric pink, and deep purple coral are breathtaking, I am surrounded by fish in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I have never seen anything like it before. The luke warm water feel good against my skin as I explore the rest of the magical undersea word. I see millions of schools of fish, from an amazing plum purple, to a transparent white, every single fish is unique and different in its own way.
Check SpellingAdd ImageI look over to my left and can't believe my eyes! I am staring strait at a hammerhead shark. I start to hyperventilate, my breath is caught in my throat, I am dead still. Terrified to move a muscle, the shark looks at me, his big black eyes piercing through my skull. Suddenly it swims away, I exhale a deep breath, and swim as fast as I can to the glass bottom boat. Once I am aboard the boat I wrap my plush towel around me, than I tell the tour guide and my family of my horror story with the shark. Once I am done my tour guide informs me that hammerhead sharks are very unlikely to hurt a human, but their size seems very intimidating to any one who encounters them. I feel humiliated but glad that the shark was never going to hurt me.

My summer days in the Caribbean were hot and magical. Summer time is one of the most amazing seasons, it is hot and sunny. I like to spend my summer days poolside sipping a cool, tropical, and fruity drink, playing a game of tennis, or submerging myself in the deep under water depths. Summer is my favorite season, for now! Keep your eyes open in the seasons series for S is for spring!

Life Lesson: Have fun in the sun!

S is for Seasons

Seasons is everywhere, its what makes the world turn into a perfect white blanket, to a beautiful flower meadow. Without the seasons the world would just be a boring sphere that never changes. The four seasons, winter, spring, summer, and autumn, are all different in every way.

Winter
I rush outside into the perfect white world, my precious skates in my hand. The frigid cold air surrounds my body as I pull my coat tighter around myself. I fall back into the snow and a mountain of snowflakes fly up around me. I sigh as I take in the engaging seen around me, the usually jade green Pine trees are now covered in a frosty white blanket, the snowflakes that are falling are beautiful, so delicate and perfect, each one different, a masterpiece! A golden beam of sun hits the snow around me and makes it glitter like a thousand diamonds. Wow I really do live in a Winter Wonderland! I slip on the supple leather of my skates, soon enough I am gliding along a smooth perfect pond. I feel like I am flying with the wind in my hair, not afraid to fall. I pick up speed and jump into my perfect triple lutz. When I land something happens, my ankle gives way and a scorching pain fills my throbbing ankle. I scream in pain and land with a SMACK! on the freezing, and hard ice. It feels like someone set fire to my ankle from the unbelievable pain coursing through it. My vision blurs from my tears turning everything around me into a gigantic blob. That is when I black out........
I fall in and out of consiencness as I try to make sense of my surroundings. Finally I see a bright orange flame in my fireplace, I look around and that I am wrapped in a soft blanket, my leg is extremely bandaged. My mom comes in and explains to me about what happened on our pond, that I sprained my ankle, and that I can't skate for three weeks. Then she hands me a cup of her Belgium hot chocolate. I take a recharging sip and feel the rich, creamy, and warm chocolate run down my throat.
A couple weeks later.
I am at the top of a huge ski hill, the chilly wind whispering through my ears. My ski's are on as I take a look down at the horrifyingly high ski hill. I can feel myself hyperventilating, The snow seems to be extremely slippery at the moment and my ski boots little too tight, suddenly my body is freezing. I can't go back now, I take one last look down the terrifying hill take one last deep breath, my lungs fill with freezing air. And I push off with my ski poles, Wow I feel alive! I am going so fast and turning so gently on the soft snow. I suddenly feel rejuvenated as I pick up more speed. Suddenly my amazing journey ends just as quickly as it had begun. I am at the bottom of the ski hill now and I take off for the chairlift so I can do that refreshing run again. I wonder what I was so scared of!

Winter is always cold but their is so much to do! I love winter for many reasons that I just stated, stay informed for my next blog Spring in the Seasons Series!

LIFE LESSON: Winter is amazing, cold, pearl white and perfect!

D is for Dreams

I slowly walk into my bedroom and shuffle across the supple hard wood floor. I climb onto my luxurious feather filled mattress, and pull the soft silk sheets over my freezing body. My eyes are closing faster and faster soon I fall asleep and surrender completely into the dark unknowingness of my dreams.... I am sailing through a vast aquamarine blue sea in a completely white sailboat. The bright golden sun beats down on me and warms my back, I feel at peace, a mist of salty water flys up around me and I close my eyes. Suddenly the sun disappears and frigid cold air surrounds my body instead of moist and humid. The boat is going a little to fast, the once aquamarine waters are now a dark, ugly blackish-green, and the waves are tossing my graceful sailboat around it. The sky is filled with grey clouds and a big fat rain drop lands on my head just as the loud thunder booms through my head and vibrates my eardrums. I see the first flash of electric yellow lightning and I scream as my delicate sailboat splinters in half. I fall into the water just as the lightning strikes once more my head is spinning, I can't think, I scream once more and with a start my eyes snap open. I sit up and realize I am once again in my comfy bed, than I look outside my window and see a thunder storm passing through. It was just a dream, I think but how? I felt the sun warm my back and I was soaked with water.

Dreams are curious things that happen to everyone, every night. It can be about anything, usually it's about something that has happened to you, for example one night I was running through a horrifying house and someone was chasing me I fell down and I got stabbed in the stomach. I woke up instantaneously and had an enormous pain in my stomach. Usually dreams can be extremely vivid and in technicolor and you feel that it is actually happening. A perfect Analogy of what dreams are about is Hannah Kochuk's poem called "A Night Spent in Technicolor"
A Night Spent in Technicolor
I sleep with pencil crayons under my pillows,
So I'll dream in purple pinks and yellows,
Dreams aren't much more than lifeless moments,
left in flight of black and white,
Unremembered a fools delight.
In my slumber I dream in raw umber
Of brilliant butterflies,
across orange sunset skies
When my dreams become to much to bare,
When I'm falling in A pit of despair
I pull out my crayons, a color of tan,
Choose one more teal
Then drift along and forget whats real,
take this dream a chance to feel
Because I dream in technicolor

I like this poem for many reasons. For one thing it completely explains the allusions that dreams can make in your head, where it says "drift along forget whats real". Also where it says "Dreams aren't much more than lifeless moments" and "Unremembered a fools delight", it shows that you can't always live in your dreams, but you can always make your dreams come true.

LIFE LESSON: If you don't have a dream, how are you going to make your dreams come true?
Oscar Hammerstein

Special Thanks to Hannah Kochuk who let me borrow her poem to use it in my blog post.

V is for Veggies :)

They are a medley of tastes, colors, shapes, and sizes. Your mother forces you to eat them on a daily basis, but usually you pretend to. Of course I am talking about Veggies! Some are delish like carrots, peppers, and tomatoes. But some disgusting, and repulsive, that make me want to dry heave, like celery, asparagus, and brussel sprouts, ew hurl! The sickening snot color of celery, the awful acidy after taste, the disgusting taste of asparagus (no words to explain how sickening it is) brussel sprouts is just so stomach churning, disgusting, and nauseating, it just makes me want to scream and run away in terror when I see it's pea green and leafy complexion. But isn't it ironic how most of the disgusting and vile vegetables are green? No offence to lettuce but green is obviously a cursed vegetable color.
Even though some vegetables are extremely foul other vegetables can be delicious and refreshing, like tomatoes, the delicate crimson red skin being broken and sending a variety of sweat and sour, juicy tastes into your mouth. What I really like to do with my veggies is make a scrumptious, and refreshing salad. The lime green lettuce cold, crunchy, and fresh, mixed with an energizing vinagrette , and various nuts and sometimes fruits like juicy oranges and succulent pears. Nothing better or healthier than a nice cool salad to restore your brain power!

Even though I have accused some vegetables to be utterly vomitous, and gross, some people might think celery and asparagus are delicious or that tomatoes are disgusting. Because we are all different, I can't even think of a world where people were all the same it would be boring just like if vegetables were all alike, imagine if we had to eat asparagus for the rest of our lives, ew! So in a way humans and vegetables are completely the same, we are all different colors, shapes and sizes.

LIFE LESSON: Eat your veggies!!!!!

D is for Dance

It's rhythmic, flowing and beautiful, its dance. Dance can be described in many different ways but I like dance for the free expression, and the ability to be precise and flexible. People say that dance isn't a sport because their is no objective, but your objective is to be on time, precise, make every move the same as the other person. I like to think of dancing as a blooming flower, it's ever evolving, and changing, almost always perfect and exquisite. No flower is the same, but they can look almost completely alike, that is the same as in dance.

There are so many different types of dance from the usually Jazz and Ballet, to amazing traditional Chinese dances or Disco. The reason why most people don't think dance is a sport is also because it is not in the Olympics, hence people not truly feeling how it could be a sport. But since there are so many different kinds of dance, it would be extremely difficult for the judges to deliberate and it would take very long to get through all of the dances.

Dancing is also an extremely physical sport, you almost always work up a sweat. Usually if you go the whole dance class without a water bottle you would feel extremely light headed at the end of the class. I do 4 different types of dance: comp Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and ballet. I love them all, Jazz for your extreme precision, stretching as far as possible and losing yourself in the song. Lyrical for its slow, alluring movements, and the ability to be free and let go. I like Tap for the constant claps of your tap shoes on the hard wood, the ability to make your feet make the loudest noises. And of course I enjoy ballet for the order, and the gracefulness.

But finally what I really have a passion for in dance is the costumes (of course). The bright coral pinks, jade greens, fiery reds, robins egg blue, almost any color you could imagine. The bright dazzling sequins that just makes you glow under the spotlight, and the big puffy skirts, short shorts, and dresses, just make me feel happy to dress up and get into the music. But that is really what dance is about, crazy costumes, losing yourself in the music, letting go, being precise, and on time.

LIFE LESSON: Dance is a beautiful ever flowing, ever evolving sport

S is for Showers

Come back from a grueling soccer practice dirty and sweaty. Walking inside you leaving a trail of dirt in your wake only 1 thing on your mind SHOWER TIME. Sprinting upstairs taking the steps 2 at a time fling open the bathroom door and bolt it shut. Its you and the shower now... STRIP, jump in and crank up the heat.

I am bombarded with the sprinkling mist and the fruity botanical's that are released into the air from my Aveda shampoo bottles. I am sopping wet now and reach for my bottle of no-frizz, extra glossy shampoo and lather up to make a mountain of fresh grapefruit smelling bubbles, rinse and repeat. My luscious locks are begging for more so I pop open my refreshing crispy apple conditioner, and lather up. instantly my hair feels silky smooth and I flip my hair like a Herbal Essences commercial. The waters beating down on me now like a waterfall and I feel at peace. Finally I make a grab for my olive green Avocado body scrub and bright blue loofah and I start to scrub. The luxurious cream runs down my skin and makes me feel renewed and refreshed. The humid, steamy, and moistened air starts to get to me and I surrender completely. Finally after my hands turn wrinklier than a pugs face, I angrily, get out.

The second that I step out of the heavenly shower, the suns rays beam through the window making my body glow and my hair sparkle like a thousand diamonds, I feel at peace. I run a comb through my hair, no need to though, my hair is already sleek and glossy from my crisp apple Aveda shampoo. I stare longingly at the huge shower equipped with extra jets, 3 types of body scrubs, multiple shampoos, conditioner's, and extra high pressure. Sigh if only i could spend a few more minutes in heaven, put more shampoo in my already lustrous hair, but I must resist. I need to return to the real world and not live my life in a shower.

LIFE LESSON: Stay Clean!

b is for books

I am running through the tropical rainforest, now I am shopping on 5th avenue New York, New York. Books can open up a whole new world to you from, fiction to non fiction, romance to horror, people say that they would rather watch movies because its real life. But movies can never explain and have nearly as much detail as a book. "Books are the juice of the mind" ~Anonymous. As anonymous has pointed out you can think better after you read books. It refreshes my mind and makes us open up to whole different world that no one new existed.

One of my favorite books are the Huger Games and Catching Fire. "The sheer fabric softly glows. I give the illusion of wearing candlelight." is a passage from the hunger games. This is after Katniss wins the games and is put in a beautiful glowing dress. This book is one of my favorites because it is what America is like in the future. It is a horrible place were there are 12 districts and a Capitol, a long time ago in the book there was an uprising in what the country is called Panem. The Capitol and the districts killed and fought viciously, but the capitol won the war and made up the hunger games. Were 24 children are put into an arena and forced to kill each other. The last person standing wins. This book shows me what could happen in the future and how horrible things could become. This book explains so much I could always get bright vivid pictures in my head.

Another one of my favorite things about books is it can take you on adventures. Small passages can make your mind open up and really see a picture in your head. Here is an example, "As she laid down on the soft sand Lucy looked up at the sky. It was painted with beautiful colors, Rosy pinks, fiery reds, canary yellows, cantalope oranges, and shimmering golds. The water crept up and licked her toes, the cold felt nice. She closed her eyes finally feeling at bliss in this cold, hard world, and willing herself to take one last breath. This passage made me feel at bliss even thought that girl was ding she saw one last sunset before her last breath.

I love books and read them way to much, when i was in New Zealand for 3 weeks I read 9 books. Whenever I go to sleep I have to read at least a little bit of a book or else I can't fall asleep. But usually on those night I get lost in my books. I look at the time and it says 9:30 so I think just read until 10:00 I look at the clock after reading and its 10:49!? I always lose track of time while reading. I guess i'm just a readaholic!

Life Lesson: Don't judge a Book by its cover!

T is for Travel

Its fabulous, fun, adventurous, different, hard to understand, fast talking, Different culture, Yes of course i am talking about Travel. I love to travel, I have been Traveling since i was a baby I've been from Paris France to New York-New York, from Rome Italy, to Shanghi China. But what i am talking about in this blog is some of the most delicious and breath taking moments that i have ever had on vacation.
One of my Favorite things about traveling is different scenery. A couple of years ago I went to Italy on a yacht that my parents friends own, and we were watching the sunset, nice rosy pinks and peaches, brilliant reds reflected in the water below us, like a mirroir. Right before the sun disappeared all together, when it just touched the horizon the was a bright flash of emerald green and than the sun was compeletly gone. It was so gorgeous I will never forget it, it was one of those moments that was completley unexpected but fantastic, magical! It was Serendipitous!

Another adventure i had that was delicious was on vacation in Japan.  One moment that i won't forget was in Tokyo. My mom and I went to a tempanyaki restaurante which is a restaurante that cooks the food in front of you On a huge stove, and everyone at the table gets to see how it is made. The restaurant was 68 stories up in this building so you could see all of Tokyo's bright twinkling lights. For dinner we had the most delicious food I have ever tried in my life it was appetizing, succulant delicious and so so much more. For first course we had Abalone which Is like muscles accept a lot much better. It was grilled on the giant stove, Once it was done it ws served in a warm butter sauce and pesto. I thought it was the only food that had so much tast it was tender and warm, and it felt like it just melted on your tongue, but the my next course was even better! My next course was lobster cooked, again, right in front of you. Usually lobsters taste kind of dry, but this one was delicious and flavor filled. It was warm and heavanly the insides were tender and juicy. It just slid down my throut, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. But the best was yet to come, finally our chef served us the most delicious food i have ever tried. It was a slab of kobe beef, it was so delicious cooked in a warm beef sauce. It was so soft and tender it was like cutting butter. It was so flavor it just exploded your tastebuds i just couldn't get enough! It was finger linking, lip smacking, melt in your mouth meat that was so scrumptious. I stole half of my moms just trying to eat some more!

I love going on vacation because it is always a new adventure! You never know whats going to happen. Like in the brilliant words that Forest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get".

LIFE LESSON: Vacation is scrumptious, surprising, breathtaking, and moments you will never forget

F is for FASHION!

Fashion, definition: a popular trend...

Fashion is love, life, hobby,
hatred, and many more definitions than just trend, ahem booooorrriiing, whoever wrote the dictionary has an extremely boring life, like hello who would want to sit in a boring cubicle all day writing about definitions. But whatever it his life, anyway I'm writing this blog about the fabulous world of fashion.
there are
sooo many big time designers that I'm just gonna tell you about half of them: Dolce and Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, DKNY, Gucci, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Juicy Couture, Prada, Chanel,Dior, Ralph Lauren, BCBG, Balenciaga, Manolo Blahnick, Alexander McQueen, Stella Mcartney, Michael Kors, Chloe, Diane Von Furtensburg, Estee Lauder, Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Steve Madden, Pucci, Betsy Johnston, LAMB, Burberry, Vera Wang, and so many more my blog would be like thirty pages long if i wrote about it.
My favorite designer that i actually wear is Juicy Couture, because it has great stuff that lasts a long time and is
sooo gorgeous. My idol is Coco Chanel the inventor of Chanel here is chanel 101
  • Real name is Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel
  • Known for Chanel Suit, Chanel jacket and Chanel no 5
  • Grew up in France
  • Dad abandoned her and her sister to go to the USA
  • lived in an orphanage
Designer stuff is very expensive, which is an issue for fashion lovers! One day I bought a black and white hounds tooth scarf for $30 I went to a different store and found the exact same scarf in the exact same material and it was $125! That's crazy and I was so glad that I found my scarf for only $30. Designer stuff is almost addicting sometimes, just look at the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic". Rebbecca Bloomwood is an obsessive shopper and thinks designer clothes is her life. Rebbecca can't help but buy new clothes because she thinks she needs it but, really she is actually thousands of dollars in debt. In the end Rebbecca realizes that there is more to life than just shopping.
LIFE LESSON: Designer clothes is to be enjoyed in moderation if you get to much you go a lot into debt like
Rebbecca Bloomwood.
